Investigate and act on reports of abuse, review content policy violations, and help shape enforcement decisions that protect the community.

About the role
We're looking for a trust and safety analyst to investigate abuse reports, review policy breaches, and apply the rules that keep Fluxer's community safe. You'll be on the front line of platform safety, making decisions that directly affect users and the wider health of the platform.
This role needs calm judgement, emotional resilience, and deep care for user safety. You'll sometimes review distressing material, and your work will make a measurable difference in reducing harm.
What you'll do
- Review and investigate user reports of abuse, harassment, spam, and policy breaches
- Make proportionate enforcement decisions: warnings, content removals, temporary suspensions, and permanent bans
- Handle appeals and communicate outcomes clearly and with empathy
- Identify recurring abuse patterns and escalate systemic issues to the trust and safety lead
- Contribute to policy updates based on frontline observations
- Support urgent escalations involving illegal content or immediate risk of harm
- Document cases thoroughly and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with engineering to improve safety tooling and detection quality
What we're looking for
- 1+ year of experience in trust and safety, content moderation, or a related role at a technology company
- Strong understanding of online abuse patterns and how they manifest on messaging platforms
- Ability to make consistent, fair enforcement decisions under time pressure
- Excellent written communication for user-facing responses
- Emotional resilience. This role involves regular exposure to distressing content.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to investigations
- Familiarity with content moderation tools and ticketing systems
Nice to have
- Experience working at a messaging, social, or gaming platform
- Familiarity with EU content regulation (Digital Services Act, e-Evidence)
- Understanding of CSAM reporting requirements and workflows (NCMEC, IWF)
- Additional language skills beyond English
- Experience using data analysis for pattern detection
