Every way to install the Android beta, and how to keep it up to date.

Recommended

Obtainium is the recommended way in. It installs the beta and updates it for you, so you never have to find and sideload a new file by hand.

The two builds are separate installs. Installing one replaces the other, so pick one and stay with it.

Direct downloads

If you would rather not use Obtainium, download a build directly. You will need to repeat this for every update.

Almost every phone made since 2016 needs arm64-v8a. Pick the universal build if you are unsure; it is much larger but works everywhere.

Firebase Cloud Messaging (betafcm)

For phones with Google Play services, such as Samsung and Pixel. Notifications arrive over Firebase Cloud Messaging.

UnifiedPush (betaoss)

For phones without Google Play services, such as GrapheneOS. Notifications arrive over UnifiedPush, which you set up separately.

Verify the signature

Every Android release build is signed with this SHA-256 certificate fingerprint. Check it before installing a file you did not download from this page.

Fluxer is not on Google Play, F-Droid, Accrescent or the App Store yet. Those come once version 1 is finished.
